Notes about the assessment test. The assessment test is mainly for students with little or no prior math competition experience. Students with prior experience may automatically qualify based on criteria described above. The assessment test is the student's opportunity to demonstrate his or her willingness to explore advanced mathematics topics and the ability to tackle challenging, non-routine problems. It is not just the raw test score that matters, but also the love of mathematics that becomes transparent in the student's application. We do realize, however, that some students who were never exposed to math competitions may feel intimidated by the types of problems in the admissions test. This does not mean these students do not have the potential and for this reason, we offer an entry level program for students who usually excel at math in 中国福利彩票邀请码大全 and are motivated to be challenged. These students will be admitted based on a recommendation from a math teacher or mentor, and a compelling parent statement detailing the student's math talents, motivation, and grades at 中国福利彩票邀请码大全. Students are still required to complete and submit the assessment test for proper placement in the program.
